200g good quality baking chocolate
6 eggs, room temperature (I left mine out on the counter over night)
a pinch of salt

Recipe Blueprint: Pesto Pastry Sticks

I'm getting very excited to see some old friends this week.  They will be my first friends from back home to visit since I've been living here in Paris so I thought I would prepare some nice tidbits to accompany our going-to-be-excessive wine drinking.  I made these Pesto Sticks ahead of time and froze them to cut back on last minute work and honestly, making this blueprint was way more labor intensive then the actual recipe.  Here it goes...

She's going the distance..

I have finally decided to commit to something I have wanted to do for sometime now.  I have decided to participate in my first organized race.  A 10k to be specific, right here in Paris.  Race day is at the end of June so I have just enough time to get in shape.  I am hoping this will be the perfect way to keep my motivated on a exercise routine.  I promise to keep you updated and let you know how it goes.
