Robert Doisneau & Paris As It Once Was

Recently, I visited an amazing exhibit at the Hotel de Ville here in Paris featuring the works of photographer Robert Doisneau. After an hour of wait outside in the cold, we got to see a view of Paris that was definitely worth the wait.

The focus of the exhibit was on Les Halles, the once major market center of Paris, but it was also nice to get a feel for Paris as it once was and seeing how much or how little things have really changed.  Here are some of my favorite images by Doisneau.

The exhibit continues until April 28th, 2012 at the Hotel de Ville de Paris and good news, it's free!!
